MONDAY, OCTOBER 5 | TECHNIQUE & CONNECTION
Paradas ...tango's Most Boring Move? NO! Paradas don't have to be predictable or boring! Let's explore how to turn them into some of the most connected, musical, and interesting movements in tango. We'll focus on quality, connection, and finding individuality in the moment.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 19 | ORCHESTRA STUDY: RODRIGUEZ
Explore the music of Rodriguez through turns, rhythmic quality, and musical interpretation. We'll dive into the orchestra's character and discover how its rhythm can inspire our movement, phrasing, and connection on the dance floor.

Location: Endless Sound Cellars located in the 222 Market Building in downtown Olympia (in the back, sign says closed, come on in)
Dates: October 5th & October 19th
Class: 6:30–7:30 PM
Practica Tinta Roja: 7:30–9:30 PM
The practica follows class and is open-ended practice time. Bring your questions! I'll be there to help, offer feedback, and support your dancing.

Music: Traditional tango, usually DJed by Jennifer James.

Class + Practica: $25
Practica only: $15

WHO IS CLASS FOR?
The class is designed for dancers with some prior tango experience and is not intended for absolute beginners. You don't need to bring a partner.

Everyone is welcome at the practica!
Absolute beginners are welcome to join the practica, even if you're new to tango.

If you're an absolute beginner looking to start learning, a new absolute beginner series begins at Spicy in October.

Please bring dance shoes, soft suede soles or socks to the dance floor. Outside food, kiddos welcome. Come dance, connect, explore, and enjoy traditional tango with us!
