GROUP CLASSES BEFORE PRACTICA TINTA ROJA
Dates: 1ST and 3RD Monday of the Monday
Time: 6:30-7:30PM
Location: Endless Sound Cellars, 222 Market Building, Olympia
Price: $25, includes practica entry. Drop-ins welcome. Cash and venmo accepted at the door.
No partner required. Please bring dance shoes/suede soles or socks.
1st Monday of the Month: Connections, Embrace and Technique focused.
3rd Monday of the Monday: Orchestra study, musicality based.

All levels are always welcome at Practica Tinta Roja, even if you have never danced tango before.
As with all my classes, you’ll walk away with some new repertoire, something we used as a vehicle to study the deeper concepts of the class.
Practica Tinta Roja will follow on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month from 7:30-9:30pm, a mix of traditional and new music, two hours of open floor practice with Jennifer available for questions.
THE TANGO ORCHESTRAS
The Tango Orchestras: Finding Technique, Quality & Artistry Inside the Music
Join World Embrace Tango on the 3rd Monday of every month as we explore musicality, history, context and quality through the Orchestras of the Golden Age of Tango! Some experience with tango is encouraged; no partner necessary. Use what you’ve just learned in Practica Tinta Roja directly after class from 7:30-9:30PM.

FALL GROUP SERIES AT SPICY
Dates: Wednesday Nights in October and November 2026 (8-week series)
Time: 6.30-7:30pm Foundations For Absolute Beginners
7:30-8:30pm Linear and Circular Changes of Directions for Social Dancers
Cost: $160 for 8-weeks
Registration: Pre-registration is required and students are asked to commit to the full 8-week series. Please register by emailing to secure a spot in the fall class series. Class Descriptions:
6:30PM Foundations for Beginners: This class will focus on Jennifer’s signature curriculum developed to support dancers in learning techniques around walking, communication in the embrace, phrasing (starting & stopping) and the two basic music qualities of rhythmic and melodic. This class is essential for learning how to learn tango. It’s the perfect place to start as an absolute beginner, but a great place to return to reinforce your basics. Start your tango journey with clarity and confidence!
7:30PM Linear and Circular Changes of Direction for Social Dancers: We are looking at turns through the lens of floor navigation and musical qualities. There will be options for ultra linear, ultra circular, and the discovery that we can do both at the same time. Tango is pretty fun like that! You must have experience with tango to join this class.
Other info: No partner is necessary for any of the classes, but pre-registration is required. Any commitment to complete all eight classes is suggested. When you register, please share what role you’d like to focus on, lead, or follow, although some switching of roles in the class will be encouraged. We will change partners often.
