Olympia Spring Arts Walk & Community Showcases

Olympia Spring Arts Walk | Saturday, April 25th

Olympia Arts Walk is all about showcasing local art, creativity, and community …this year, we’re bringing tango to the streets!

If you’ve been part of our program through:
- group classes
- private lessons
- leader/follower intensives

then you’re invited to perform in our Student Showcases. All levels welcome! This is about sharing what we love and inviting new dancers to join in the fun.

FREE Absolute Beginner intro lesson and Milonga to follow directly after the showcases. If you’ve been curious about tango in Olympia, this is a great time to check it out!

What if I’ve never danced tango before?
Arts Walk is the perfect event to:
- take a beginner lesson in a low-pressure environment
- support a dancer friend in their hobby or performance
- listen to tango music and watch tango dancing
- contribute your energy and enthusiasm to your local music, art and dance scene

Everyone is welcome to come dance, connect, and enjoy. Invite a friend to help grow our scene. Join us afterwards for Procession of the Species, an Olympia tradition.

Location: Abigail Stuart House, 1002 Washington St SE, Olympia, WA 98501

Time:

1:30pm Showcases

2:00pm Absolute Beginner Intro Lesson on the second floor of the Abigail Stuart House

2:00 - 4:00pm Milonga Yo Soy El Tango in the main ballroom of the Abigail Stuart House

Interested in performing? Message me!

Your journey deserves to be celebrated! Let’s share it with our community!
