Millongeando Workshop in Seattle, June 21st

1-2:30 Workshops 1
3-4:30 Workshop II
At Phinney Ridge Community Center

About this Workshop: Jennifer Jaymes and Gabriel Magni bring their love for social tango to Seattle. Our goal is to teach authentic social tango using accessible tools to bring out the creativity and artistry in all dancers. In this series we’ll look at tango through the lens of social dance: our roles, how we connect, moving with our whole bodies as well as attunement and presence with our partner while maintaining our sense of autonomy.

Gabriel and Jennifer’s classes focus on quality, phrasing, connecting/embodiment, and musicality, using the figure as a vehicle to understand these deeper concepts. We are looking to empower confident, creative, considerate social dancers! No partner is necessary for the class, Private lessons are also available.

* This particular Milongeando workshop in Seattle is geared towards intermediate and above tango dancers. Some experience with tango is advised. If you have taken our previous Milongeando workshop in Olympia, concepts will be built upon and you are welcome to attend.
